SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - This weekend, the Community Music of Springfield will host a pay-what-you can Latin concert.

“What were really going for is to represent the variety of Latina voices that are writing music now,” said Aliana de la Guardia, co-founder of Bahué.

On June 15, Latin American duo Bahué will perform a concert titled ‘Descarga Hipnótico’ at the school. The concert consists of new works that blend genres of both classical and popular music through classical voice, vibraphone, and electronic sound. De la Guardia told us the upcoming concert will help residents explore different styles of music.

“There’s going to be some a little bit more on the experimental side that’s going to open your ears to new sounds,” de la Guardia added.
